摘要:
林纾是一位有影响的文化人，林纾的人格魅力与文化品格包括心系民族和警醒社会的心灵世界、“畏天循分”和忠义侠胆的人格正气与魅力、博爱深广的情感世界、“木强多怒”心系国家和民族的爱国情怀等几个方面。大学文化建设的一个重要方面，是如何挖掘和总结自身固有的文化传统，并对之发扬光大。以福建工程学院为例，应该注意两个问题。一是如何挖掘和认识林纾的文化遗产与人格魅力、文化品格；二是如何弘扬林纾的文化品格与文化遗产，为建设当代大学文化服务。
Abstract:
Lin Shu is a significant cultural personality, whose personality and cultural qualities include his soul world that linked to the Chinese people and awakened the Chinese society, positive power of observance to the Emperor/nature and gentlemanness, wide emotional world as well as straightforwardness due to inborn nature that concerns for the nation and the people. An important aspect of fostering college culture is to excavate and to summarise the inherent cultural tradition to invigorate it. Exemplified by Fujian University of Technology, two issues in fostering the college culture are alerted, which cover mining and understanding the cultural heritage of Lin Shu and his personal charm and cultural character and highlighting his cultural character and cultural heritage to serve the contemporary college culture.
